A Community Co-operative was established in March 2004; local people now own and operate Uig Community Shop which is linked to the Scottish    Co-op; great range of groceries fresh fruit and vegetables etc. Diesel and Petrol also available. Usual opening hours 10am - 5pm. Not open on Sunday. Don't bother stocking up in Stornoway - support your local shop! Newly extended for 2008!

We have two mountain bikes and two sit-on Perception canoes - guests are welcome to borrow. (You can take the kids for the afternoon as well if you like!)

Kirsty teaches a mixed ability fitness class at Uig Community Centre - Monday evenings at 6.15pm - you are welcome to join in, so don't forget your Lycra ...maybe not....!

If you really must bring your laptop with you, we now have wireless internet access available in all rooms

Digital TV

In the highly unlikely event of dodgy weather (hmm, is that my nose I can see growing before me??!!) we now have upgraded TV facilities in all rooms.

Fabulous new curtains and soft furnishings!
